TEXAS HOLD’EM NIGHT

Glendalough Golf So­ci­ety are hold­ing a Fun Ta­ble Quiz in Lyn­hams, Laragh at 8.30pm on Fri­day 6th Fe­bru­ary. Good crack guar­an­teed. Prizes for fun­ni­est an­swer, fun­ni­est team name, spot prizes etc.

VALEN­TINE TEA DANCE

The Wick­low Ac­tive Re­tire­ment have in­vited Round­wood Ac­tive Re­tire­ment to a Valen­tines Tea Dance in the Wick­low G.A.A. on Sun­day 15th Fe­bru­ary from 2.30pm – 6pm and we the Round­wood Ac­tive Re­tire­ment will be putting on a free bus leav­ing Round­wood Parish Cen­tre at 2.30pm and will be col­lected for home at 6pm in Wick­low. PUB­LIC MEET­ING

Pub­lic Meeet­ingThe Round­wood & District Com­mu­nity Coun­cil will hold a pub­lic meet­ing in Round­wood Old School at 8pm on Mon­day the 9th of Fe­bru­ary. Is­sues to be dis­cussed will in­clude traf­fic calm­ing in the vil­lage, park­ing at the Health Cen­tre, the re­view of the county de­vel­op­ment plan and other lo­cal is­sues.

Every­one is wel­come to come along - to raise any is­sues of con­cern or to just check out what is hap­pen­ing (or not hap­pen­ing!!) in our com­mu­nity. New res­i­dents are es­pe­cially wel­come.

EASTER BREAK

Would you like a week in France this Easter? The tour leaves on 8th April and re­turns on the 15th April, 2009. Fly­ing to Lyon for a week in the moun­tains in La Bour­bourle, with some day tours and great food. Tour starts from Round­wood for an all in price. SET DANC­ING

Come along to Ka­vanagh’s Lounge on a Thurs­day night from 9.00pm un­til 11.00pm for some Set Danc­ing and the bit of craic with CDs. Looking for­ward to your con­tin­u­ing sup­port and meet­ing you on the dance floor.

There was no win­ner in last weeks lotto. The num­bers drawn were 4, 13 18 & 20. There were eight match three win­ners, Billy Gaynor, Sean Pierce, Jackie Hughes, Tri­ona Snell, Pa­tri­cia Byrne, Lynn & Gerry, Suzanne & Johno & Selina Roche. Next weeks jack­pot will be €12,800.
