Third arrest made in connection with fire
A THIRD ARREST has been made in connection with a fire in September 2007 that claimed the lives of two Bray firefighters
A man in his 50s was arrested on Friday morning and later released without charge. A woman in her 20s was arrested in October and detained on suspicion of reckless endangerment and a man was seized by gardai in a dawn raid the previous month. Both of those were also released without charge.
Part-time firefighters Brian Murray and Mark O’Shaughnessy lost their lives while battling a blaze at a disused factory at Adelaide Villas. A Coroner later said that they had died as a result of inhaling toxic gases.
