Three-legged Labrador missing in Roundwood

Bray People - - News -

A ROUNDWOOD family who haven’t seen their dog since the weekend are hoping he will be found safe and well and returned to them soon.

Derry is a black Labrador with just three legs. He would not normally be out and about but managed to get out and was last seen in the local shop playing with some children. He belongs to Gary Cooley, his wife Sonia and their son Matthew – all of whom are very upset at the disappearance of their pet. Staff of the shop assumed that the dog was with the children and it wasn’t until Gary started making enquiries that they realised they had missed an opportunity to get Derry back home.

Derry is a good natured dog aged around 10. He lost his leg when he got caught in a fence a number of years ago. He is wearing a collar with his name and phone number on it.

His owners are very worried about Derry’s safety, there having been very heavy snowfall in the area of late.

Anyone who spots the beloved family pet can call 087 6672657 or 087 9689504.
