TRY YOUR HAND at baking some delicious delights with the Happy Pear’s forthcoming ‘Chocolate Love Festival,’ in the Greystones restaurant.

Five judges will have the difficult task of judging who has the winning formula, with entrants asked to submit their cakes, buns, sweets, biscuits and treats before 1.30 p.m. on the day of the competition, Sunday February 22.

The Happy Pear has been running similar festivals for over a year now, including apple pie, brown bread and, of course, chocolate.

Subcategories include chocolate cake, kids and open. A live local band will be there on the day and after the judges have tasted the chocolate goods, they will be put on a communal table for all to share.
