ATTENTION was drawn once again to a number of vacant units in Riversdale that have been earmarked for affordable housing for a number of years.
Cllr. John Brady, speaking at Tuesday’s meeting of Bray Town Council, said that 5 of the 8 affordable homes in the development are unoccupied due to delays.
He added that the council can’t lower the price of these units which will go at the same price as 2 years ago despite economic changes. He proposed that the price be lower.
Housing officer Triona Irving said that the Riversdale management company have confirmed receipt of a letter from Bray Town Council officials.
