The trip to Waterford for any maintenance work that may be needed usually takes two days and it has become something of a tradition for the northern crew to stop in Wicklow for refueling purposes.

Wicklow RNLI members were able to show their fellow RNLI chums from Larne some Garden County hospitality as both sets of volunteers met up for a few sociable pints on Saturday night.

On Sunday morning the Wicklow lifeboat was launched on an exercise mission as the Larne lifeboat continued out on its way to Waterford.
