Bless­ing­ton stu­dents ap­pear on RTE

PUPILS FROM Bless­ing­ton Ed­u­cate To­gether Na­tional School made an im­pres­sive ap­pear­ance re­cently on RTE’s chil­dren’s cur­rent af­fairs pro- gramme ‘News To­day’.

On Thurs­day, Jan­uary 22, fifth and sixth class pupils from the school made their way to Don­ny­brook and dis­cussed their var­i­ous opin­ions on new Amer­i­can Pres­i­dent Barack O’Bama’s inau­gu­ra­tion which took place in early Jan­uary.

E nv i r o n m e n t a l is­sues, equal rights and thoughts on liv­ing in the fa­mous White House were voiced by the pupils.

The pupils also put for­ward their opin­ions and hopes for the new Pres­i­dent’s fu­ture term in of­fice.

An en­joy­able time was had by all.

So very well done to all the young boys and girls.
