Teel­ing to speak at busi­ness sem­i­nar

DR. JOHN TEEL­ING will be the guest speaker at the next free busi­ness sem­i­nar or­gan­ised by the Wick­low County En­ter­prise Board.

Best known as the founder and chair­man of Coo­ley Dis­tillery in County Louth, Dr Teel­ing cur­rently chairs six Stock Ex­change listed com­pa­nies in a di­verse range of in­dus­tries and has suc­cess­fully started nine busi­nesses. The Coo­ley Dis­tillery is most fa­mous in Ire­land for the Tyr­con­nell la­bel but re­fines many more. The com­pany has three dis­til­leries around the coun­try, ex­port­ing more than 90 per cent of its sales to over 40 coun­tries.

He is also in­volved with de­vel­op­ing di­a­mond mines in Botswana and Sierra Leone.

The free sem­i­nar ti­tled ‘ Do You Have What It Takes To Start A Busi­ness?’ takes place in the Glen­view Ho­tel on Mon­day Fe­bru­ary 23 at 7.30 p.m..
