Fe­bru­ary ac­tiv­i­ties for the Queen of Peace Ad­ven­ture Youth Club in­clude a night walk in the Glen of the Downs, swim­ming, rock climb­ing, Small Su­gar­loaf night climb, games night, beau­ti­cian treat­ment, and home­work classes. Mu­sic lessens will com­mence in the near fu­ture.

The Villa Pacis caters for a wide va­ri­ety of groups rang­ing from Yoga, Com­mu­nity Moth­ers Group, Med­i­ta­tion, Ac­tive Re­tire­ment and es­pe­cially Prayer.

Parish Of­fice Hours: The open­ing hours are 9.30am to 12.30 Mon­day to Fri­day. Masses can only be booked dur­ing th­ese hours.

New Mass Times: Satur­day 6.30pm Vigil Mass and Sun­days at 9am, 10.30am,11.30am, 12.30pm and 5.30pm. Week­days at 10am and 1,05pm.

For the du­ra­tion of the re­fur­bish­ment work all Masses will be held in the tem­po­rary church in the church grounds. Park­ing re­stric­tions will be in force.

Con­fes­sions will be heard in the Villa Pacis af­ter the 10am and 6.30pm Masses on Satur­days. Rite 2 Rec­on­cil­i­a­tion Ser­vice will take place on the last Satur­day on the month at the 10am Mass.

Funer­als: Dur­ing the cur­rent re­fur­bish­ment funer­als will take place in ei­ther St. Fer­gal’s Church or the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer.

The priests of the parish will con­tinue to or­ga­nize and of­fi­ci­ate at th­ese funer­als – all fu­neral Masses will be at 11.30am.

Lour­des: Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish will be mak­ing its an­nual pil­grim­age to Lour­des from the 7th to the 12th Septem­ber, in­cor­po­rat­ing the Dublin Dioce­san Pil­grim­age.

This will be our 9th year go­ing as a parish, in which we have es­tab­lished our­selves as a very suc­cess­ful pil­grim­age, ap­peal­ing to many peo­ple out­side the parish.

While in Lour­des we stay in Ho­tel Soli­tude, just 4 min­utes from the Grotto. This is a fam­ily run ho­tel, and we par­take in some of the more mov­ing cer­e­monies, leav­ing you with plenty of time to see the sights of Lour­des which is an amaz­ing city for many dif­fer­ent rea­sons.

Parish Can­vas: Over the next few weeks it is hoped to can­vas the Parish for in­for­ma­tion re­gard­ing the Parish Re­fur­bish­ment - if you can help, please give your name to any of the priests of the parish.

Par­ent, Baby & Tod­dler Group: This meets on the third Wed­nes­day of the month from 10.30am to 12pm in the Vil­las Pacis – next meet­ing Wed­nes­day 18th Fe­bru­ary.

Thank You: Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, wishes to thank all those to gave gen­er­ously to their very wor­thy cause – the amount do­nated was €750.

Ac­cord: The an­nual col­lec­tion for Ac­cord, the Dublin dioce­san agency for Mar­riage and the Fam­ily will re­place the SHARE col­lec­tion at all Masses this week­end.

Ac­cord Dublin through­out the Dio­cese of­fers Mar­riage Prepa­ra­tion, Coun­selling for cou­ples and in­di­vid­u­als who are ex­pe­ri­enc­ing dif­fi­cul­ties in re­la­tion­ships and pro­vides a Re­la­tion­ship and Sex­u­al­ity Pro­gramme for schools.
