A WOMAN who tried to pay a fixed charge notice three times had the charges against her struck out.
Rowena Kehoe, 61 Rossmore Park, Newtownmountkennedy, was charged with driving without a driving licence, driving without insurance, failing to produce both documents and holding a mobile phone while driving at Mountkennedy Demesne on May 12, 2008.
The court heard Kehoe (33) had produced her driving licence and insurance before the court and they were in order.
She said she had picked up the mobile phone when detected by gardai but said when she received the fixed charge notice she tried to pay it on three occasions.
Judge Murrough Connellan then struck out the charges.
