HUNDREDS OF parents and friends of St. Laurence’s NS Greystones turned out at the town’s golf club on Friday night to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day.

The superstitious amongst those invited were not put off by the fact that the event fell on Friday the 13th.

There were some beautiful gowns adorned by the ladies, all of whom looked spectacular at the school’s annual dinner dance organised by the parents’ association.

Popular local band Dog Ruff brought the house down and ensured that there were some moves on the dance floor worthy of Strictly Come Dancing. There was also a raffle with prizes donated by a number of nearby businesses as well as parents and teachers.

Glamorous ladies Oonagh Conway, Lisa Croke, Patricia O’Regan and Barbara McMackin.
