Bray People - - News -

AN Adult Education Open Day in the Little Flower Hall recently gave locals the opportunity to find out about the many different educational opportunities available to them in the local area.

The event was run by Bray Area Partnership in collaboration with the Bray Adult Education Network as part of the AONTAS Adult Learners Festival 2009.

The wintry weather on the day didn’t stop the potential learners who turned up to browse the stalls and pick up information from education providers - ranging from local colleges such as Bray Institute of Further Education to groups such as the Bray Adult Learning Centre and Festina Lente.

There were also stalls from other services and groups that can offer advice and support to people considering returning to education – such as the Citizens Information Centre and the Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS).

Anyone who missed out on the open day but would like some more information on returning to education or starting an education course can contact the Education Team at Bray Area Partnership on (01) 2868266 or email amaher@braypartnership.ie
