Monday night is movie night in Wicklow

Bray People - - News -

MONDAY NIGHT was movie night once again as the latest screening of the Wicklow Film Club took place in the Leitrim Lounge.

Launched last year as a way to earn funds for the Wicklow Community Resource Centre, the film club has proved to be a well supported venture.

It’s also the closest experience to actually going out to the movies available in the town where there isn’t a cinema, and hasn’t been one for a good number of years.

Monday saw the movie ‘Margot at the Wedding’ receiving the red carpet treatment. Directed by Noah Baumbach and starring Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jack Black, the movie depicts the relationship between sisters Kidman and Leigh. Tensions are high as Kidman’s uptight and judgemental writer brings out the worst in everybody around her.

Further information on the next Wicklow Film Club sitting will be available soon.
