On Saturday, February 7, a presentation of Queen of Peace Adventure Youth Club medallions were made to Stephen Eaves on completion of two years service on the club committee; and to Robert Byrne and Ryan Corcoran on their Atlantic Row in January. Noel Walsh from the Bray Rowing Club unveiled a plaque of the past and recent history of the Queen of Peace Boathouse.
FAIR TRADE DINNER
The annual Fair Trade dinner takes place at 7.30 pm Friday, February 27 in the Royal Hotel. Tickets, €60, available at the hotel, Bray Cancer Support, or the committee. Guest of honour will be Chris De Burgh, and entertainment will be by the Three Amigos. Proceeds will go to Bray Cancer Support and Information Centre.

A special committee of past and present chairpersons of the Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals met on Thursday February 12 to draft a proposed revised constitution for the Society’s next Annual General Meeting. The meeting was chaired by Norman Cross.
