FOOT­BALL BLITZ

Curtlestown N.S and Scoil Mhuire agus Gearoid are tak­ing Part in the Blitz. Other teams in their sec­tion in­clude Glenealy, Gael Scoil Ui Cheadaigh and St. Brigids. The weather in­ter­fered with the early fix­tures but ev­ery­body is now ea­gerly await­ing the high point of the com­pe­ti­tion – the meet­ing of the En­niskerry schools.

FAIR TRADE

Bray Trade Fair Din­ner will have En­niskerry res­i­dent Chris de Burgh as its guest of hon­our at their func­tion on Fe­bru­ary 27 in Royal Ho­tel, Bray.

RACING NEWS

En­niskerry driver Daniel Barry fin­ished in sec­ond place in a com­pe­ti­tion in the UK last week­end.

TRAIN­ING

The En­niskerry Gaelic Foot­ballers are back in train­ing de­spite the harsh weather. The draw for the Spe­cial Cup, to cel­e­brate 125 years of the GAA, has matched the lo­cals against the Se­niors of Kil­te­gan – the County Cham­pi­ons. The game will take place in En­niskerry.
