BRAY WHEELERS’ next big event will be the Paddy Martin Randonee to be held on February 22.

This event is to commemorate our much loved former life president who sadly passed away in February of last year.

Paddy was a member of Bray Wheelers for over 50 years, giving tirelessly of his time to promote cycling in the area. Paddy’s love of cycling was unquestionable and he encouraged many others to share that love.

The Randonee (leisure cycle) will start at the Bray Wheelers Clubhouse, Schools Road, at 10 a.m. Sign on will be open from 9 a.m.

All ability levels are welcome to take part in this event and there will be a choice of two routes on the day.

Route 1 will be aproximately 100km and route 2 will be aproximately 70kms. A preview of the route is available on the Bray Wheelers website www.braywheel

Refreshments will be provided and certificates awarded at the clubhouse after the event. Refreshemant will also be available on the route.

On behalf of all its members, Bray Wheelers would like to extend their sympathies to the Crean Family on the recent death of Francis’ wife, Jennifer. RIP.
