The an­nual mem­ber­ship again falls due and is cur­rently been col­lected by Tim Balfe and Martin Doyle. The rates for the com­ing year are as fol­lows: Adult Play­ers €100; Stu­dent/Ap­pren­tice Play­ers €40; Non Play­ing Mem­bers €40. As with all clubs, mem­ber­ship is es­sen­tial in the day to­day run­ning of the club and is good value to all who use the fa­cil­i­ties.

MI­NOR HURL­ING LEAGUE

The Mi­nors suf­fered a nar­row de­feat to Ferns in the Gorey district league on Sun­day. It was the first game of the year for our young men. Man­ager Mark Collins said in his post match anal­y­sis that he was happy with the ef­fort and per­for­mance shown.

U-21 FOOT­BALL

The county trav­elled to Long­ford on Satur­day to play the first round of the Le­in­ster Cham­pi­onship. Brian Os­borne was picked in the piv­otal po­si­tion of cen­tre-back and pro­duced a good per­for­mance which led to a one-point win. An­other Kil­ca­van man, Oisin Doyle is also on the panel and they next play Laois in Aughrim.
