Bray People - - News -

A STINT OF community service is in the offing for two sisters from Bray who attempted to make off with over €900 worth of stock from the Enniscorthy branch of Dunnes Stores.

Judge William Hammill heard how Barbara Moorehouse (19) and Helen Moorehouse (24), both of 1 Walcot, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, along with a third female, were intercepted by store security staff as they left with a suitcase full of clothes. Judge Hammill took into account that the pair both had previous convictions for theft.

He ordered a probation report, with a view to imposing community service orders for 100 hours work, in lieu of two months behind bars.
