Bray People - - News -

DUKE SPECIAL has been selling out tours across Ireland, the UK and Europe since the unprecedented success of his album From The Deep Forest.

He memorably stage-dove at Electric Picnic and we certainly hope for a repeat of the performance when he plays an intimate gig in Greystones Theatre tomorrow evening.

Duke Special has come further than he ever imagined, having supported Crowded House on their last tour, given Duffy her first ever shows and guested for Ray Davies in London. He also performed at The Irish Film Board’s prestigious Oscar Wilde event in LA in the preamble to the Oscars.

The Belfast songwriter, born Peter Wilson, is currently learning to swordfight for an upcoming stage showdown with his long time nemesis, Neil Hannon! Neil, otherwise known as The Diving Comedy, is sure to be prepared for the clash.

Speaking of the Clash, Greystones Theatre will once again host locals Universal Funk Orchestra on Saturday night when they take on The Clash’s London Calling.
