Bench warrant

Bray People - - Inprofile -

A BENCH warrant has been issued for a man with a number of separate addresses given at Arklow District who to date could not be traced.

James/Jamie Carroll with addresses at Briggs Lane, Arklow, Chestnut Grove, Arklow and Simon Community, Cork faces charges of possession of stolen property, making gain or causing loss by deception and intoxication in a public place in 2007 and 2009.

The court heard that the case had previously been adjourned so that the whereabouts of Carroll could be determined.

Defence for Carroll said that his last known address was at Newcastle Hospital but he had recently signed himself out and moved to a homeless shelter in Co. Cork.

Attempts to contact him at this location failed.

Judge Murrough Connellan issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
