CRAIG O’NEILL is again in action this Sunday for his county when they face Laois in Aughrim in the U21 Leinster Championship. No doubt he will have plenty of local support on the day (If Andrew Molloy and crew can find the Pitch) and all in the village wish him well. Having got lost travelling to the Longford match, Daryl Tighe recommended the boys get a Sat-Nav but then it was recalled how Daryl finished up at the Parnell Monument in Dublin instead of Parnell Park when Wicklow were playing the ‘Dubs’ a while back so it might be best to ask for proper directions before setting off to Aughrim!

On a more important club issues, the juvenile A.G.M. has been changed to this Monday night (2) at 9pm in the Glencormac Inn, anyone wishing to help out this year should attend.

The junior A team had a very useful workout last Thursday night against Round Towers. Players and supporters are reminded that before travelling to matches, please be sure to double check the arrangements with club officers.

The county monthly magazine is still for sale at a price of 3 euro, contact, Daryl on 0861718923 for your copy. Finally, all at the club extend sincere sympathy to the Behan family on the loss of Sinead Behan. May she Rest in Peace.
