Lingerie boss set to plead
A LINGERIE company boss has had a drink-driving charge against her adjourned while she decides how to plead.
Melissa Nelson, co-owner of Dun Laoghaire-based Honey Trap, is accused of failing a breath alcohol test after being stopped driving in Wicklow more than four years ago.
Ms Nelson (33), who was arrested on the charge last month following an earlier failure to appear in court, had her case put back to April.
Her solicitor made an application for the disclosure of prosecution documents.
The accused, of Pembroke Gardens, Ballsbridge, is accused of drunk driving at Ballina-barney, Rathnew, Co Wicklow on September 22, 2004.
Judge Murrough Connellan remanded her on continuing bail and granted her solicitor a statements order.
On the next day, the accused will either enter a plea or be given a hearing date if she is contesting the charge.
