PETER MCKENNA NIGHT
A night of music will take place in Kavanaghs on Friday February 27. It is to commemorate the first anniversary of the passing of Peter McKenna. A line up of musicians who entertained with Peter will provide the music on the night. Admission is free but a raffle will be held on the night. All money generated will go to cancer research.

Preliminary notification of the Avondale Community College fashion show in the college organised by the parent’s association in aid of the school on Friday March 27. Tickets will be on sale from March 2 in the school. More details in the coming weeks. Watch this space.
WORLD DAY OF PRAYER
Papua New Guinea and Calary Church are involved in the international and interdenominational World Day of Prayer. The service has been prepared in Papua New Guinea for use around the world.
Calary Church will host the local celebration at 8 p.m. on March 6. Through a Knockraheen connection, we will also be able to see some of the colour and lifestyle in Papua New Guinea. This used to be known as the Women’s World Day of Prayer, but in the spirit of political correctness, all are welcome!
Roundwood Community Pre-School are holding a table quiz on Friday 27th Feb, in The Coach House at 8pm. All proceeds raised will go towards adapting the new house for the Community Pre-School, in Ashwood, Roundwood. All support welcome.
