Wedding CAKE by night

Bray People - - WHAT'S ON GUIDE -

IN THE current economic climate, brides are looking at ways to cut costs for their big day. With the recent rekindling of interest in home baking, more people are deciding to make their own wedding cakes.

There are many mammies out there who work wonders with the Christmas Cake, but shy away from a wedding cake due to lack of confidence.

Where do you begin - what's the best icing to use to give a professional finish, where do I source Wedding cake decorations and still stay in budget?

Will I have to spend a fortune on equipment just for one cake?

Meg Geraghty 'The Cake Lady' is starting a night class in October to answer all of these questions (and many more). The classes will be small, so you can get personal attention and will run for two hours per night over three nights. The cost for these classes is just ?90.

Private classes are also available. Contact Meg on 087-9306667 or e-mail thecakelady@eircom.net.
