Panic alarm raised over intoxicated man in pub
A BRAY MAN was fined €350 when he appeared before Judge Murrough Connellan at last week’s sitting of Bray District Court.
Edward Jackson (32), 1 Lower Dargle Road, Bray was charged with being intoxicated in a public place and refusing to give his name and address at The Harbour Bar, Bray on August 22, 2009.
Garda Louise Jackson said she responded to a panic alarm from the Harbour Bar at 6.40pm and Jackson was intoxicated and refused to give his details.
The court heard Jackson had a number of previous convictions. Acting for Jackson solicitor Joe Maguire said Jackson apologised for his behaviour saying he was going through a bad phase at the time.
Judge Connellan fined him €100 for being intoxicated and €250 for refusing to give his name and address.
