Over the legal limit
A CARLOW man who drove while drunk has been convicted at Arklow District Court.
Finian Doyle with an address at Coolkenno, Tullow was charged on August 4 at Kevin Street, Tinahely after his car hit another vehicle and caused damage.
A reading of 99mcg alcohol to 100ml breath was noted. Charges of hit and run were struck out in court. Convictions were imposed for drunken driving with a fine of €500 and six year driving ban and the same penalty for no insurance.
