Bray People - - NEWS -

A FASSAROE WOMAN found in possession of a stolen sat nav had her case adjourned until December 14 when she appeared before Judge Murrough Connellan at last Thursday’s sitting of Bray District Court.

Roseanna Teelan (24), 5 Dargle Heights, Fassaroe was charged with handling stolen property at Peppers car park, Quinsborough Road, Bray on February 22, 2009.

She pleaded guilty to the charge and the court heard evidence from Garda Brian Barron who said he met Teelan at 1.35am on the Quinsborough Road. She was in possession of a stolen Tom Tom sat nav.

The court heard Teelan had 16 previous convictions and acting for her solicitor, Joe Maguire said she was a 24 year old woman who was battling a drink problem.

He said she was working with Bray Addition Team. He said her family history was not great and she ‘was a young woman desperately trying to break the cycle’.

Judge Connellan remanded Teelan on continuing bail until December 14 to see if she came to garda attention.
