GLENEALY’S Bal­ly­knocken House and Cook­ery School scooped the top east­ern ac­co­lade at the Good Food Ire­land Awards held in the KClub dur­ing the week.

Proud own­ers, Cather­ine and Clau­dio Ful­vio, re­ceived their award to rap­tur­ous ap­plause from al­most 300 fel­low Good Food Ire­land mem­bers. Trevor Sar­gent TD, Min­is­ter of State at the Depart­ment of Agri­cul­ture, Fisheries and Food, con­grat­u­lated the pair on their tri­umph.

The Good Food Ire­land Awards hon­our peo­ple and places for their com­mit­ment to us­ing lo­cal Ir­ish food.

Bal­ly­knocken House is set right in the heart of Wick­low’s wild coun­try­side and Cather­ine takes great pride in her use of lo­cal pro­duce used for the award winning break­fasts and din­ners she serves. The cook­ery school is per­fectly lo­cated in a ren­o­vated milk­ing par­lour.
