Bap­tisms: Bap­tisms will only take place once a month and will be held on the First Satur­day of each month at 1 p.m.

As from the first Satur­day in March our Parish Bap­tisms will take place in Holy Redeemer at 12 noon, on the first Satur­day of each month. Our Parish team and priests will still be in­volved. Forms must still be col­lected from the parish of­fice, and com­pleted at least two weeks be­fore the date of Bap­tism.

Bap­tism meet­ings will be held in this Parish on the Wed­nes­day be­fore the date of Bap­tism. There will be no Bap­tisms on the first Satur­day in April (April 3) as this is Holy Satur­day.

Lenten Prayer Evenings: On each Tues­day evening of Lent –March 16, 23 and 30-Man­resa will be of­fer­ing short pe­ri­ods of guided prayer (7.30-9 p.m.) on the theme ‘Cre­ate a sa­cred space to open your heart to the Word of God.’ Th­ese evenings will be di­rected by Fr. Ciary Quirke, S.J., of the Man­resa Team.

Lenten Pro­gramme: This has been put to­gether by the four Catholic parishes of Bray with the theme of “Pray­ing with women in Luke”. The pro­gramme con­tin­ues next Mon­day with‘Chris­tian Med­i­ta­tion’ hosted by St. Peter’s Church, Lit­tle Bray; Mon­day March 22: Taize in St. Fer­gal’s Church, Bal­ly­waltrim. Each evening will be­gin at 7.30 p.m. and will fin­ish with a cup of tea/cof­fee. All are wel­come.

Saint Vin­cent de Paul: The Emer­gency Num­ber for the lo­cal con­fer­ence of Saint Vin­cent de Paul is 087 7772132, please leave a mes­sage and some­body will re­turn your call as soon as pos­si­ble. The Young at Heart Club will be con­tin­u­ing, but the venue is now in the Coach Inn, please be there for 12.30 p.m. as din­ners will be served at 12.45 p.m. sharp. Cost is still the same €5, which will be col­lected as you ar­rive.


Tea/cof­fee is still avail­able on a Tues­day morn­ing af­ter Mass, we will be do­ing our best to ac­com­mo­date ev­ery­body in the bun­ga­low, where you will be very wel­come.
