On­line lis­ten­ers can tune into Gar­den County Ra­dio

WICK­LOW PEO­PLE will be able to cel­e­brate this St. Pa­trick’s week with their very own on­line ra­dio sta­tion, ‘Gar­den County Ra­dio’, which prom­ises to bring the spirit of the Gar­den County to a lo­cal, na­tional and in­ter­na­tional au­di­ence.

By log­ging onto www.eventfm.ie and click­ing the ‘Lis­ten Live’ but­ton you will be able hear the lat­est live broad­cast from stu­dios in Bray. The sta­tion has been broad­cast­ing since last Fri­day, March 12, at noon and will con­tinue to broad­cast un­til Sun­day, March 21.

The sta­tion will fea­ture the very best in Ir­ish mu­sic, as well as spe­cial fea­tures such as trad ses­sions, a cel­e­bra­tion of the nat­u­ral beauty of the Gar­den County with Pa­trick O’Rourke and ‘Ard­more Stu­dios 50’, a re­flec­tion pre­sented by Kevin Mo­ri­arty, MD of Ard­more Stu­dios in Bray.

There will also be a ‘World­wide Re­quests’ show, pre­sented by Ken Doyle of the group Bagatelle.

To cel­e­brate St. Pa­trick’s Day there will be live mu­sic per­for­mances from Comhal­tas Ce­olte­orí Eire­ann and on­street pa­rade com­men­tary. You will also have the op­por­tu­nity to e-mail the sta­tion and share the magic of Wick­low with your friends and re­la­tions world­wide.
