Prayer Group: This Group meets in the Side Chapel ev­ery Mon­day at 8 p.m.

Scrip­ture Group: The Group meets in the up­per room of the Cof­fee Dock ev­ery Tues­day morn­ing from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon.

Si­lent Holy Hour: This take place in the Side Chapel each Fri­day from 11 a.m. un­til 12 Noon.

Daily Mass: This is cel­e­brated at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Trocaire Boxes: Th­ese are avail­able at the doors of the Church af­ter Mass. Please take one if you have not al­ready re­ceived one through the schools

Lent 2010: Daily Mass will be 7.45

a.m., 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.; A book­let en­ti­tled ‘Called to be Holy’ con­tain­ing daily re­flec­tions and pray­ers is avail­able with the catholic pa­pers at a cost of just €1.

Lenten Pro­gramme: This has been put to­gether by the four Catholic parishes of Bray with the theme of “Pray­ing with women in Luke”. The pro­gramme con­cludes next Mon­day March 22 with Taize in St. Fer­gal’s Church, Bal­ly­waltrim at 7.30 p.m. and will fin­ish with a cup of tea/cof­fee. All are wel­come.

Youth Choir: The 7.30 p.m. Youth Choir is looking for new mem­bers. The age group of the choir is 15-25 years and prac­tice takes place in the church be­fore Mass. If you are in­ter­ested and would like in­for­ma­tion you can con­tact Thomas on 085-1560006.

Free English Classes: Th­ese are given by vol­un­tary teach­ers at Five Loaves on Thurs­days from 7-9 p.m. Any­one wish­ing to learn English are wel­come - con­tact Jim on 2867516. St. Pa­trick’s Day: Masses will be cel­e­brated on Tues­day at 7pm (Vigil) and on St. Pa­trick’s Day at 9am, 10.30am and 12 Noon. There will no Evening Mass.

Gospel Dis­tri­bu­tion: The parish has re­ceived 1500 copies of St. Luke’s Gospel. The Parish Pas­toral Coun­cil has de­cided that this is a great op­por­tu­nity to reach out to all our parish­ioners and it is hoped to de­liver a copy to all house­holds in the parish and to do this at least 100 vol­un­teers are needed to go out in pairs to visit all ar­eas of the parish as part of this once-off op­er­a­tion.

Those who are pre­pared to vol­un­teer their ser­vices are in­vited to a short meet­ing which will take place af­ter Satur­day’s 10am Mass in the side chapel. The gospels will be avail­able for vol­un­teers to take af­ter the meet­ing which can then de­liv­ered at a time suit­able to each vol­un­teer.

Gospel Blitz: A blitz on St, Luke’s Gospel will take place on Satur­day March 27 from 9.30 a.m. to 12 Noon in the Lit­tle Flower Hall.

Col­lec­tion for Habi­tat: Domh­nall McGlacken-Byrne wishes to thank all those who con­trib­uted so gen­er­ously to his re­cent church gate col­lec­tion in aid of Habi­tat. The to­tal amount raised was €2304. Thank you all for your gen­eros­ity and also to those who sup­ported the Ta­ble Quiz.

Folk group in Kil­coole: This Fri­day March 26 at 8 p.m. in St. An­thony’s Church Kil­coole, the Holy Redeemer Folk Group will present an evening of pop­u­lar and in­spi­ra­tional mu­sic, fea­tur­ing works from El­ton John, U2, Take That, ABBA, Liam Law­ton and many more.

Tick­ets are priced at €10, and chil­dren un­der 12 are free. Pro­ceeds are in aid of St. Vin­cent de Paul, and the Kil­coole Mu­sic Fes­ti­val. Tick­ets are avail­able at the door, and also from Co­lette on 087 6833206, Miriam on 087 9778255, from Kil­coole Phar­macy, Main Street, or the Parish Of­fice in Grey­stones or from Robert Nolan, Post Of­fice, New­town.
