ARK­LOW TOWN Foot­ball Club cur­rently dom­i­nates the U-18 League, with both their ‘A’ and ‘B’ sides in the top three.

Ark­low Town A is now just a point off top spot af­ter their crush­ing 6-1 win over league leaders Wick­low Town .

Jack Tim Mur­phy recorded a hat-trick for the Black and Whites on Satur­day af­ter­noon, with Adam Han­lon (2) and Aaron Barry also scor­ing. The hosts’ ef­fort was an Aaron Barry own goal. This re­duces the gap to a sin­gle point, but sec­ond placed Ark­low Town A have three games in hand.

Eight points and one place be­hind Ark­low Town A is Ark­low Town B, who stole third spot from Granada af­ter beat­ing Aughrim Rangers 4-1, with Stu­art O’Neill (2) and Matt Blanchina both notch­ing for Town. Ja­son Cush got Rangers’ re­ply.

Else­where, bot­tom sides En­niskerry YC and New­town United played out a bore 0-0 draw at Ber­ry­field Lane on Satur­day morn­ing.
