Annacurra 3-6 Moneystown 4-2

Bray People - - SPORT -

IN A HUGELY entertaining game in which every child played his or her part the home side edged out the visitors from Moneystown in this Allianz Roinn a Tri league match. Moneystown were first out of the blocks and were ahead for most of the game.

However, the home side refused to give up and late in the second half scored two goals that just about sealed the victory. The game was fast moving with plenty of skills on show, especially from the Annacurra girls who would traditionally be camogie players. Refereed by James Fitzgerald, Cumann na mBunscol is grateful to the local Annacurra Club for the use of their fine facilities. If Aughrim can defeat Glenealy in the final tie of the league, the side in blue will contest the Roinn a Tri final with the winners from the north of the county.
