NORDIC Walking classes continue to attract good numbers in Killruddery on Saturday mornings at 10 and 11.30 a.m. and on Sundays at 11 a.m.
So much so that they are now adding a 10.30 a.m. class on a Thursday in Killruddery also and classes can be easily set up by arrangement for groups of 3 or more.
Nordic Walking uses two poles and the natural walking movement to walk more efficiently and burns up to 50 per cent more calories than normal walking by using your upper body as well as your lower body when walking.
