The St. Anthony’s Boys School Annual Table Quiz will be held in the Mill Room tomorrow Thursday March 25, starting at 8.30. Prompt arrival is strongly recommended. Table of four €25. Bumper raffle tickets are available to buy from the school, and also on the night. Donations of suitable prizes for the raffle would be greatly appreciated.
This 6 week Tuesday course is aimed at adult females who wish to make a start or a comeback with an exercise plan. Each week there will be gentle exercises, basics of Camogie, a blitz, plus tea/coffee and a chat. The price for the 6 weeks is €30. FOLK GROUP IN CONCERT
This Friday March 26 at 8.00 p.m. in St. Anthony’s Church Kilcoole, the Holy Redeemer Folk Group will present an evening of popular and inspirational music, featuring works from Elton John, U2, Take That, ABBA, Liam Lawton and many more.
Tickets are priced at €10, and children under 12 are free. Proceeds are in aid of St. Vincent de Paul, and the Kilcoole Music Festival. SENIOR CITIZENS TRIP
The group will take their annual trip to the Maritime Hotel in Bantry from Monday April 5 to Friday April 9, with the coach leaving Greystones Dart Station at 9.45 a.m., to join up with the coach leaving St. Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m.; arriving at approx. 5.30 p.m. in Bantry, with dinner followed by a night of music.
There will be a day trips each day to include Mizen Head, Skibbereen, Kenmare and Castletownbere. There will be dinner and entertainment each evening. Tuesday evening will also include Bingo, Wednesday evening will include fancy dress, talent contest and a super raffle. Thursday evening ends with music, with all arriving home approx. 6.30 p.m/7.30 p.m. on Friday evening.

Set Dancing is held on Wednesday evenings in Byrne’s Mill Room from 8 p.m. The monthly set dancing night will be held on Wednesday March 31 from 9 p.m. in the Millroom, which music by Michael and Brian.
There will also be a set dancing afternoon in the Roundwood Parish Hall on Sunday April 18 from 3.00 to 7.00 p.m., with music from the Sean Norman Ceili Band.
