TA­BLE QUIZ

The St. An­thony’s Boys School An­nual Ta­ble Quiz will be held in the Mill Room to­mor­row Thurs­day March 25, start­ing at 8.30. Prompt ar­rival is strongly rec­om­mended. Ta­ble of four €25. Bumper raf­fle tick­ets are avail­able to buy from the school, and also on the night. Do­na­tions of suit­able prizes for the raf­fle would be greatly ap­pre­ci­ated.

CAMOG AER­O­BICS

This 6 week Tues­day course is aimed at adult fe­males who wish to make a start or a come­back with an ex­er­cise plan. Each week there will be gen­tle ex­er­cises, ba­sics of Camogie, a blitz, plus tea/cof­fee and a chat. The price for the 6 weeks is €30. FOLK GROUP IN CON­CERT

This Fri­day March 26 at 8.00 p.m. in St. An­thony’s Church Kil­coole, the Holy Redeemer Folk Group will present an evening of pop­u­lar and in­spi­ra­tional mu­sic, fea­tur­ing works from El­ton John, U2, Take That, ABBA, Liam Law­ton and many more.

Tick­ets are priced at €10, and chil­dren un­der 12 are free. Pro­ceeds are in aid of St. Vin­cent de Paul, and the Kil­coole Mu­sic Fes­ti­val. Tick­ets are avail­able at the door, and also from Co­lette on 087 6833206, Miriam on 087 9778255, from Kil­coole Phar­macy, Main Street, or the Parish Of­fice in Grey­stones or from Robert Nolan, Post Of­fice, New­town.

SE­NIOR CIT­I­ZENS TRIP

The group will take their an­nual trip to the Mar­itime Ho­tel in Bantry from Mon­day April 5 to Fri­day April 9, with the coach leav­ing Grey­stones Dart Sta­tion at 9.45 a.m., to join up with the coach leav­ing St. An­thony’s Church at 10 a.m.; arriving at ap­prox. 5.30 p.m. in Bantry, with din­ner fol­lowed by a night of mu­sic.

There will be a day trips each day to in­clude Mizen Head, Sk­ib­bereen, Ken­mare and Castle­town­bere. There will be din­ner and en­ter­tain­ment each evening. Tues­day evening will also in­clude Bingo, Wed­nes­day evening will in­clude fancy dress, tal­ent con­test and a su­per raf­fle. Thurs­day evening ends with mu­sic, with all arriving home ap­prox. 6.30 p.m/7.30 p.m. on Fri­day evening.

SET DANC­ING

Set Danc­ing is held on Wed­nes­day evenings in Byrne’s Mill Room from 8 p.m. The monthly set danc­ing night will be held on Wed­nes­day March 31 from 9 p.m. in the Mill­room, which mu­sic by Michael and Brian.

There will also be a set danc­ing af­ter­noon in the Round­wood Parish Hall on Sun­day April 18 from 3.00 to 7.00 p.m., with mu­sic from the Sean Nor­man Ceili Band.

SE­NIOR CIT­I­ZENS
