Esra left her Clondalkin home at 7.15 a.m. last Wednesday morning to go to the shops and never returned. The silver Renault was found parked close to Bray Head later that day. Her husband Ozzie said that nothing unusual had occurred and they had not been arguing.
‘I started to worry when she did not return after around 10 a.m. and was not answering her mobile phone,' he explained. ‘After midday passed I was very worried.'
Mrs. Uyrun, who is Turkish born but has an English accent, is described as around 5'5”, with blonde highlighted hair, hazel eyes, and a Mediterranean complexion. She was wearing white trainers, black leggings and a black jumper when she left her house. She may also have had a denim jacket in the car. She will be 39 on October 1. She and her husband have lived in Ireland for the last four years after relocating from London when he was transferred for work. They have a 2year-old child. Her bank accounts have not been used since her disappearance. Esra's sister Berna Fidan said that she was devastated by the death of their father last October and has not been happy living in Ireland in recent times.
