THE Lexus CT 200h was named as the 'Clean Car of the Year 2011' at the Brussels Motor Show in the fleet category by a jury panel composed of professionals from different business areas.

All the selected ‘candidates’ are contributing to clean mtoring, with the CT 200h excelling in the majority of the criteria and judged to be most deserving of the title . The cars nominated in the fleet category were: Audi A4 2.0 TDI Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCi Econetic Lexus CT200h Mitsubishi ASX 1.8 Di-D 2WD Nissan Leaf Peugeot iOn Skoda Superb Greenline 1.6 TDI Volvo V50 1.6D DRIVe VW Passat Variant 1.6 TDI Bluemotion Bringing Lexus and its hybrid technology to a wider, younger audience, the CT 200h marks the introduction of the first, and only, full hybrid vehicle at the heart of the premium compact segment. Created with the European market in mind, its size, packaging, full hybrid technology and ultra-low CO2 emissions of 87g/km perfectly meet the requirements of environmentally-conscientious customers.

Lexus says the new Lexus CT 200h represents outstanding value for money and candeliver cost savings to private owners, company car drivers and fleet operators alike thanks to its unique combination of low emissions-linked taxation advantages, outstanding fuel efficiency, low service, maintenance and repair costs and strong residual values.
