Lights are out of sequence

BLACKLION SET NEED A ‘TWEAK’

Bray People - - COUNCIL REPORT -

THE SEQUENCE of the traffic lights at Blacklion still needs to be tweaked according to members of the local town council.

At last week's meeting of Greystones Town Council Cllr. George Jones told town engineer Eoin Heslin ' the traffic lights at Blacklion are still not working. They malfunctioned twice in the last week and there is no flow of traffic, traf- fic can be down as far as the petrol station in rush hour and it is not a question of excess traffic. We need to do something.'

Town engineer Eoin Heslin said he would investigate the sequence between 7am and 9.30am to observe rush hour traffic.

'I have been led to believe it was all working correctly at the Blacklion lightst', he said.
