No motor tax
A GREYSTONES man had just returned from China and couldn’t afford motor tax, he told Judge Murrough Connellan at last week’s sitting of Bray District Court. Stuart Maher (28), 23 Burnaby Lawns, Greystones, had his vehicle seized on August 23 last year. He got it back the next day when he payed outstanding tax and produced his insurance and driving licence. Maher was fined €100 for not having tax. Judge Connellan dismissed a charge of having no NCT when he heard that Maher had booked the vehicle for the test that morning.
