‘Windows of the World’ gets underway in schools
THIS YEAR'S ‘Windows of the World' schools initiative is underway, with a number of ambassadors from different nations already visiting schools.
The Finnish Ambassador went to see the pupils of Marino School, the German Ambassador went to St. Philomena's Ravenswell, the Ambassador for Denmark went to Bray School Project, and St. Cronan's boys played host to the Italian Ambassador.
A further seven visits will take place in the coming days, before the children begin to decorate local shop windows in their international theme.
Each school will create a special display which will be presented in the windows of Bray traders during the St. Patrick's Festival and prizes will be awarded to the winning entries.
