Accused of abusing gardaí
A DUBLINER who allegedly called gardai a ‘ useless crowd of w***ers,' made no appearance in Bray District Court last week.
The Court heard that Sallynoggin man Peter Doyle was encountered by gardaí on the Vevay Road on Saturday February 19 at 1.15 a.m.
When told to leave the area, he said ‘not for ye shower of c** ts', said Inspector Tom Finnerty in evidence.
He added that Doyle was arrested as he was a danger to himself in such an intoxicated state.
‘ He was brought to Bray Garda Station and was extremely violent in custody, raising his fists to gardaí.
‘ He continued to be abusive upon his release, calling gardaí a myriad of names that it is of no benefit to the court to read out.
‘I don't want that, you can shove it up your hole,' was his parting shot when handed a charge sheet, before kicking the door on his way out, according to the inspector.
A bench warrant was issued for Doyle's arrest.
