The first Coun­try and Craft Mar­ket of 2011 at the Brock­agh Cen­tre will take place on Sun­day 13th March from 11 am un­til 4 pm.

The next 'My Rhythms' Body Move­ment Dance ses­sions at the Brock­agh Cen­tre will take place on Satur­day 12th March from 8-10.30 pm. You will be sure to de­stress your tired body, have fun, en­er­gise your­self, meet new peo­ple and come away with your bat­ter­ies recharged. Cover charge only €10.

On Mon­day 14th March there will be a very spe­cial event or­gan­ised by the Brock­agh Cen­tre. The Phillips Academy Cham­ber Orches­tra and Choir from Mas­sachusetts, USA will be vis­it­ing Glen­dalough and will hold a spe­cial lunchtime per­for­mance from 12.30pm in St. Kevin's Church, Glen­dalough. There is no cover charge but do­na­tions will be grate­fully re­ceived for St Kevin's Church Fund.

The Phillips Academy, es­tab­lished in 1778, is a cel­e­brated res­i­den­tial sec­ondary school with a rep­u­ta­tion for aca­demic ex­cel­lence and a strong arts tra­di­tion. For all stu­dents at Phillips Academy, mu­sic is a part of their stud­ies and the Mu­sic Depart­ment di­rects sev­eral vo­cal, or­ches­tral, cham­ber and wind en­sem­bles. A se­lec­tion of these en­sem­bles will come to­gether for this spe­cial per­for­mance. We are de­lighted to wel­come the group and hope that those in the lo­cal­ity who are avail­able will come along to show their sup­port.


The church gate col­lec­tion at St. Kevin's Church on the week­end of 12th and 13th March is in aid of Brain­wave - the Ir­ish Epilepsy As­so­ci­a­tion. Your sup­port will be ap­pre­ci­ated.


Get Vo­cal is a cho­ral pro­gramme for older per­sons liv­ing in County Wick­low. We are look­ing for par­tic­i­pants for our 2011 Spring Pro­gramme. No au­di­tions. There are five re­gional sec­tions which will have pro­fes­sional cho­ral con­duc­tors and all five sec­tions will come to­gether as one county choir to per­form a con­cert in Wick­low on 29th May, 2011.

A new session of chil­dren's arts and craft classes takes place on Satur­day morn­ings from 10.30 a.m. un­til 12 noon. Open to ages of 4-8yrs. Book­ing Es­sen­tial for both classes. Con­tact Brock­agh Cen­tre on (0404) 45600.


The Brock­agh Kids Easter Camp takes place on Tues­day 19th April to Fri­day 22nd April from 9.15am un­til 1.30 p.m. Ac­tiv­i­ties in­clude Freck­les McGoo Mu­si­cal Theatre, El­e­va­tion Hip Hop, Imag­i­na­tion Gym, Yoga, Arts & Crafts and Fun and Games. Laragh IT are still tak­ing names for a pos­si­ble JEB course to run this year. This course of­fers a recog­nised teach­ing qual­i­fi­ca­tion where par­tic­i­pants will ac­quire the skills and knowl­edge to teach ICT us­ing a com­pe­tent and pro­fes­sional ap­proach. A ten day tour of Aus­tria St An­ton and Lake Con­stance will take place from 29th June to 8th July. No fly­ing in­volved just coach and cruise.
