Enniskerry Junior Footballers have their opening game this coming Saturday against Blessington at 3.00p.m in Pairc na Sillogue, this first game in the County League could not be much harder for the Black and Amber men.The turnout for training has been good and hopefully will result in a home win.
Enniskerry Y.C's second had their first win of the Soccer season with a big scoreline a 5-0 thrashing of Carnew on Sunday last, 2 goals each from Stephen Blackbyrne and Stephen Smith and the fifth one coming from Justin Melia brought happy looks on the faces of the Selectors and players alike. The first team made their exit from the Cup losing out to a lone goal from Newtown.
Enniskerry Walkers are out again on Saturday 12th March leaving the Village (Windsors Spar) at 1.50 p.m by pooled cars to their 2 hour 5 miles trip at Lough Dan, with new and old Walkers welcome.

Tomorrow night ( Thursday) local historian and author Liam Clare will be the guest speaker for the March monthly meeting of the Enniskerry History Society at 8.30pm on in the Powerscourt Arms Hotel, Enniskerry, at which he will present his lecture 'The Enclosing of the Commons at the Sugarloaf Mountain near Bray, 1830 to 1870 '.
