ARK­LOW TOWN B got their U-11 Divi­sion 2 Shield Sec­tion 2 cam­paign off to a dream start with a com­pre­hen­sive 2-7 vic­tory over Glen­cor­mac United at Ry­der's Field.

Michael Brady struck twice for the Kil­macanogue side as they slumped to their sec­ond shield de­feat, hav­ing pre­vi­ously suf­fered a 6-1 de­feat at the hands of En­niskerry B.

En­niskerry picked up a sec­ond 6-1 vic­tory at the week­end, with Ash­ford Rovers the vic­tims this time. Glen­cor­mac United and Ash­ford Rovers will be hop­ing to get back to win­ning ways this week­end when the pair go head to head in league ac­tion.

Ark­low Town also re­turn to league ac­tion, and they face a tricky trip to Bray to take on Wolfe Tone C.
