A HUNDRED BIRTHDAY WISHES!
BRAY WOMAN Lily Roe celebrated her 100th birthday over the weekend with two parties that were attended by family and friends. One party was very kindly organised by her neighbours in Avondale, Bray, while the other was organised by her niece, Bernie Curran.
‘ The priest in St Fergal's Church said a Mass for her, and the parish committee provided tea, cakes and sandwiches for afterwards,' said Bernie.
Family members travelled from all over to be with Lily on her special day. Her nephews Aidan and Michael even travelled over from the UK to celebrate with her.
‘After Mass, we went for a lovely lunch in the Royal Hotel,’ said Bernie.
