BOLLYWOOD FEVER ON THE WAY
CHARITY NIGHT IN GLENVIEW
BOLLYWOOD FEVER will be in the air on Saturday April 2 as the Glenview Hotel in Glen of the Downs plays host to a fun Bollywood Night in aid of The Hope Foundation. The Indian inspired even t starts 8 p.m. and you 're invited to come and dance the night away Bollywood style with DJs, dancers, fire jugglers and much more.
You can also get a Henna Tattoo or enjoy an Indian Head, Hand or Arm Massage while you're there. Organisers will be on the lookout for the most creative or inspired Indian. Guests will enjoy special screenings of Bollywood movies, and can buy a range of Indian cuisine from Chakra in Greystones, Indian Spice Company in Greystones, Milla's Kitchen in Newtown mount kennedy, and the Glenview Hotel in the Indian Bazaar area.
On top of all that, all ticket holders will be entered into a free draw for some great prizes. A special price of €20 for advance bookings in now available, and the Glenview Hotel is offering some special Bollywood B&B rate of €45 for the night which includes use of leisure facilities. Tickets will also be available on the door for €25, and all funds raised go towards The Hope Foundation's work with the street and slum children in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta).
The Hope Foundation, set up in 1999 to raise funds for one girls' home, now works with 16 Indian NGO partners to rescue thousands of children from the streets and slums of Kolkata, improve their quality of life, and give them a better future.
HOPE supporter, Ruby White, who has travelled to Kolkata twice, is organising the event on April 2.
Speaking about HOPE, Ruby says ‘visiting HOPE's projects was unbelievably rewarding, life changing and enriching, and I hope to go back again but until then I am aiming to promote and spread the word about the great work that The Hope Foundation does’.
