St. Kilian’s tops ‘Build a Bank’ contest
THE ST. KILIAN'S Build A Bank group were crowned overall winners at last week's regional final for the AIB initiative.
The final took place last Thursday in the Arklow Bay Hotel. 14 schools from the region were in attendance and the standard was very high.
St. Kilan's now face the winning schools from all the other regions in the county in May.
' We hope we can do as well at the nationals as we have done the last number of years in the regionals,' said business teacher Tracey Brophy, a huge thank you to our loyal customers that return twice a week to make lodgements and to Susan Tyrell from AIB who has been a huge help throughout the year.'
Ashleigh Martin was manager and Graham Sutton manager of the Transition Year bank.
Rebecca Briggs is the sales and marketing executive, Carol Thornton the auditor, and three tellers in Megan Hanlon, Jono McCormack and Michaela McGrath.
