All set to step it out in Grey­stones

THE PEO­PLE of Grey­stones are well and truly pre­pared by now for to­mor­row's St. Pa­trick's Day pa­rade, set to be the best yet in the sea­side town.

The event will start cel­e­brat­ing Ire­land's na­tional day at 12 mid­day at the South Beach Car Park, pro­ceed­ing north along Church Road to the re­view­ing stand at St. Pa­trick's Church. Aas well as groups, or­gan­i­sa­tions and busi­nesses march­ing in the pa­rade, there will be lo­cal bands play­ing at cer­tain spots along the route, as well as the Rochdale March­ing Band tak­ing part in the pa­rade it­self.

The day is to in­clude visit to the town by rep­re­sen­ta­tives from Hol­ly­head in Wales, with a view to link­ing the two towns.

Claire Tobin took part in last year’s pa­rade in Bray.
