All set to step it out in Greystones
THE PEOPLE of Greystones are well and truly prepared by now for tomorrow's St. Patrick's Day parade, set to be the best yet in the seaside town.
The event will start celebrating Ireland's national day at 12 midday at the South Beach Car Park, proceeding north along Church Road to the reviewing stand at St. Patrick's Church. Aas well as groups, organisations and businesses marching in the parade, there will be local bands playing at certain spots along the route, as well as the Rochdale Marching Band taking part in the parade itself.
The day is to include visit to the town by representatives from Hollyhead in Wales, with a view to linking the two towns.
Claire Tobin took part in last year’s parade in Bray.
