BRAY GIRL Hayley Gibbons held a charity gig in Pizzas ‘n' Cream last Thursday. Hayley plans on travelling to the Special Olympics in June to volunteer, and wanted to raise money for the event.

On the night, attendees were asked to donate €5 towards the cause. Local favourites Wyvern Lingo took to the stage to perform acoustically for the listeners and played a set of original material and a few covers.

‘The place was filled, it was so great to see so many people to come out and support Hayley on the night,' said Caoimhe Barry, percussionist and vocalist for Wyvern Lingo. ‘ We had such a great time. We have been playing a lot of gigs lately, but this was very chilled out and it was for such a good cause, so we couldn't say no! Pizzas ‘n' Cream kindly handed out free pizza to everyone who attended,' she added.

The money Hayley raised on the night will be donated to the Special Olympics and she herself will be volunteering for the events this coming June.
