Failte hon­our duo for com­plet­ing course

LOUISE WHITE­HEAD, from Tul­far­ris Ho­tel and Golf Re­sort, Bless­ing­ton Lakes, to­gether with Neasa Clissman, Clissman Horse Drawn Car­a­vans, Wick­low, were both hon­oured at a re­cent awards cer­e­mony af­ter com­plet­ing a Tourism Mar­ket­ing Net­work Pro­gramme.

The pro­gramme com­menced in Novem­ber 2010 and was im­ple­mented and de­vel­oped by Fáilte Ire­land. It came to a close this week af­ter stu­dents pre­sented their mar­ket­ing plans, which they de­vel­oped as part of the syl­labus.

The net­work pro­gramme is part of Fáilte Ire­land’s busi­ness sup­ports de­signed for own­ers, se­nior man­agers and mar­ket­ing man­agers with re­spon­si­bil­ity for mar­ket­ing ac­tiv­i­ties to as­sist them to in­crease their cus­tomer base, par­tic­u­larly from key over­seas mar­kets, and was de­signed to be short, in­ter­ac­tive, prac­ti­cal and fo­cused on real is­sues that chal­lenge tourism busi­nesses on a day-to-day ba­sis.

On com­ple­tion of the pro­gramme, Kevin Mo­ri­arty, Fáilte Ire­land’s Head of Op­er­a­tions for Dublin, pre­sented cer­tifi­cates to the par­tic­i­pants.

Re­ceiv­ing their cer­tifi­cates, hav­ing com­pleted a Fáilte Ire­land Tourism Mar­ket­ing Net­work Pro­gramme, were (from): Neasa Clissman, Clissman Horse Drawn Car­a­vans; Kevin Mo­ri­arty, Fáilte Ire­land; and Louise White­head, Tul­far­ris Ho­tel and Golf Re­sort.
