Failte honour duo for completing course
LOUISE WHITEHEAD, from Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort, Blessington Lakes, together with Neasa Clissman, Clissman Horse Drawn Caravans, Wicklow, were both honoured at a recent awards ceremony after completing a Tourism Marketing Network Programme.
The programme commenced in November 2010 and was implemented and developed by Fáilte Ireland. It came to a close this week after students presented their marketing plans, which they developed as part of the syllabus.
The network programme is part of Fáilte Ireland’s business supports designed for owners, senior managers and marketing managers with responsibility for marketing activities to assist them to increase their customer base, particularly from key overseas markets, and was designed to be short, interactive, practical and focused on real issues that challenge tourism businesses on a day-to-day basis.
On completion of the programme, Kevin Moriarty, Fáilte Ireland’s Head of Operations for Dublin, presented certificates to the participants.
